Adam Parascandola is the director of animal cruelty issues at HSUS. Before joining HSUS in September 2009, he was the director of Oakland Animal Services, part of the Oakland (Calif.) Policy Department, for two years and spent twelve years as the chief program officer at the Washington Humane Society.
