Alyson Bodai is HSUS's Wisconsin State Director, overseeing legislative activities in that state. Previously, she worked in HSUS's campaigns against animal agriculture.
Before joining HSUS in 2006, she was an academic advisor at the University of Iowa where she founded the Farm Animal Welfare Network. For this, she was awarded Farm Sanctuary's Outstanding Activist prize in 2005, and the following year she received HSUS' National Humane Award for Excellence in Animal Advocacy.
