Jack W. Lydman
Jack W. Lydman served on the board of HSUS from 1982 until 2003. Lydman was a member of the board's internal "Deferred Compensation Committee," formed in 1983, that made questionable financial transactions invovling then-President John Hoyt and then-Treasurer Paul Irwin.
Lydman served as U.S. Ambassador to Malaysia from 1969 to 1973 and served on the Advisory Council of the Asia Society Washington Center. He was also a foreign service officer and actor. He died in 2005.
