Joanne Bourbeau is the HSUS State Director for Vermont and New Hampshire, overseeing legislative attempts in those states. She has been an employee of HSUS since 1995.
Bourbeau also serves as the president of the Vermont Humane Federation and on the board of the New Hampshire Federation of Humane Organizations.
She received a bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of New Hampshire in 1987 and a certificate in non-profit business management from John Hopkins University in 2001.
