Richard Clugston

Richard Clugston was the Executive Director of the HSUS-affiliated Center for Respect of Life and Environment (CRLE) from 1989 to 2007 and was also publisher and editor of Earth Ethics, a CRLE journal.
Clugston's tenure at HSUS lasted from 1991 to 2008. He has served as HSUS's Vice President for Higher Education and Vice President for Humane Sustainable Development and Religion. From 1997 to 2007 he was executive director of the Association of University Leaders for a Sustainable Future. Clugston formerly was on the faculty of the University of Minnesota.
