Walter J. “Joe” Stewart

Joe Stewart is a Washington, DC attorney and member of HSUS's Board of Directors with a long back in the US Senate. He served as Secretary of the Senate from 1987 - 1994 and has also held positions as Secretary for the Minority, Secretary for the Majority and Director of Senate Floor Operations for the Majority Leader. He has also served as President of the Progressive Congress Foundation.
