Happy Birthday! (part 4)

This party just keeps going and going, but all good things must come to an end.

Today we bring you the final installment of our four-day Birthday flashback series. (Here are parts 1, 2, and 3.) It’s been a wild ride this year, but we hope we’ve been able to persuade many of you to think about where your “humane” donations are going.

Here’s hoping this year will be better than the last for struggling U.S. pet shelters. They deserve your respect, your help, and (if you are able) your money.

To celebrate the project’s birthday, we’re flashing back to the most memorable moments.

Yesterday in recognition of our 1st birthday, we kicked off a “We Didn’t Start the Fire”-esque look back at HumaneWatch through its first three months.

Today we continue the journey, covering the second quarter of our inaugural year.

If you’re guessing tomorrow will continue with August through October, and that Friday will bring the exercise full-circle, you’re definitely on to something.
