The Visual HSUS, Part 9
The “Humane Society” of the United States gives less than 1 percent of its budget to hands-on pet shelters. As we spread this message further and further, people continue to be shocked. And after this initial reaction, they often ask, “Where does the money go?”
As we discussed on Monday, a whopping 43 percent of HSUS’s budget goes to overhead. And of the money that actually is spent on programs, much goes to support a broad PETA-type agenda for animal rights—not animal welfare.

As I see it, the HSUS has lost the true intent of the Humane Society. That would be, to help ANIMALS, not line pockets. What is wrong with you HSUS??
Unacceptable!!!! Our donations Are for our desenseñada animaos that need help and Shelter not to fatten peoples pocket!!!! Remember animals are priority!!!!!
“HSUS”.... their deceptions by using ( Humane Society ) as we know nowhere close to that ...Time to get there lobbying stopped and get them out so these donations go to the proper places….NO Tax Free status ...We all know the truth ...time to get their tax free status removed ...They been getting away with this way too long!!!!
Careful, they will be on you like flies on hog @#%*. That hog has no grass and it’s little piggy feet might get dirty on the ground. I will adopt the fund raising one. Then I can live as well as a hog. LOL
I never realized that this was happening, from now on I will donate directly to the Shelters of my choice. I think that this should be on the nightly news so that others can make sure that their money is going to tjhe care of the animals.

@ Tammie - Very early on in their history they abandoned their original intent to support animal *welfare* in favor of animal *rights*. They have been a full fledged animal *rights* organization for decades, and the principle they support is that animal ownership = animal abuse.
If you want to support animal *welfare*, you need to abandon all HSUS dogma, in in practical terms, support your local shelters. HSUS goal is to kill as many animals as possible, and they are misusing the legislative and legal systems to do that.
Donate to local shelters (time, money, supplies), that way the help goes to where it is truly meant to go. Is nothing sacred anymore?
Sad part is there getting away with it…..The bright side is we keep passing this alone and every other pc of Junk they do !!! We will get them out of the Animal Business, Stop The Donations and take there Tax Break and get the money going to the right place ! Helping Animals…. Not Big Shot’s !
