Peter Brandt

Peter Brandt is a staff attorney at HSUS. In 2001, Brandt co-authored an op-ed in the Los Angeles Times with a member of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine calling for people to stop eating meat. (At that point, Brandt was a "Seattle-based writer.") Brandt is listed as of a "Writers Group" for PCRM in 2001 and  2002 and wrote a profile of PCRM founder Neal Barnard in 2001 for Salon.com. And in 1999, Brandt wrote a letter to the New York Times defending animal-rights philosophy. Brandt graduated from Lewis & Clark Law School and holds a B.A. from Whitman College.
