We just wanted to make that clear. We’ve been quoted as saying that the Humane Society of the United States is basically PETA with a nicer wristwatch, and fewer naked interns. We’ll stand by that remark.

But just so everyone knows, we won’t be blogging about PETA in this space, except to the extent that its activities, personnel, and/or finances share something in common with those at HSUS.
