John Balzar

John Balzar is HSUS's senior vice president for communications.

He joined HSUS in 2006 after working as a journalist for 35 years, including 24 years as a staff writer at the Los Angeles Times. In 2001, the Ark Trust awarded him a Genesis Award "for humanely-inspired topical commentary."
