Kelly O’Meara
Kelly O'Meara is the director of international companion animals and engagement of Humane Society International (HSI), overseeing the companion animals division. She also directs the HSI India office and its programs for street animals throughout India and nearby countries in Asia.
Before her current appointment, she served as the program manager for Asia and Africa at HSI. During her time at HSI, she has co-authored several papers with employees from HSUS, including Dogs on Abaco Island, the Bahamas: A Case Study and State of the Animals.
O'Meara holds an undergraduate degree in natural resource studies and wildlife conservation from the University of Massachusetts.
