Rebecca Aldworth
Rebecca Aldworth is the Director of Humane Society International Canada, and HSUS's Director of Canadian Wildlife. She is typically a fixture on the ice floes of eastern Canada during the annual seal hunt.
During the 2006 seal hunt, she was charged (along with four other activists) with violating a law requiring "observers" of the seal hunt to remain ten meters away from the hunters. A Canadian court acquitted her in 2008.
